We usually bypass Okoboji Grill, because we have never had a 'good' experience at this restaurant. The service is always extremely slow, and the food mediocre. However, they have free kid meals on Sundays and who can pass that up? This visit, we got seated immediately which almost never happens when we go there. The restaurant was clean, our waitress was friendly, and we got our orders taken immediately to my amaze. However, when ordering my drink I asked for a Diet Coke. What was brought to me was definitely NOT a Diet Coke, but instead a Diet Pepsi. This might not be a big deal to some, but to the Diet Coke addict it is very important indeed. It would have been nice to have a heads up before taking a drink. Our food was brought out faster than any other visit, which was very surprising to me! The food was fresh and delicious.
Overall, this was the best trip to Okoboji Grill we have ever had and based on this trip we will probably try it out again. Below is the rating on a 0-10 scale: (0 = Worst Ever, 10 = Best Ever)
