Yesterday was Jackson's Leader Day at school. Mike, Maddie, and myself went to Jackson's class in the morning and planned on spending a few hours there to watch his daily routine and see him being the Royal Reader. His teacher told me a few times that Maddie was welcome to come, and how much fun she'd have sitting with the other kids on the floor during their morning routine.
Eek!!!
So a few minutes into the day, Maddie starts throwing a fit. Then it gets worse and worse, so much that it's hard to even watch Jackson do his thing and read his book to the class. About an hour into the day, we decide to give up and just take her home. Luckily I was able to get a few pictures of Jackson's great Leadership! :-) It was really cute to see him sitting in the little royal chair and wear his crown while he read his book. I'm amazed at the progress he's making with reading and spelling!

Sorry Maddie didn't let you stay longer in Jackson's class, but way to go Jackson with his reading! :)
