NVC Huh?

I'll be so glad when the paperwork is finished and things are done!! Although, even after Birdy is home, we'll still have a long paperwork trail getting her citizenship, US passport, US birth certificate, etc.

Today I emailed to make sure our clearance to adopt has been cabled to the US Embassy in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. Praying that they actually have all of our paperwork, and my updated finger prints so there won't be any delays in getting Birdy's VISA.

There are also a couple families traveling right now to pick up their children! One is Chrissy Johnson who has a little 2.5 year old son "B" at Mussie Orphanage, where Birdy is.

Another family that is traveling right now apparently had quite a glitch in their adoption, and didn't know until they were there!! Praying that Ryan and Gina Hale are able to get things straightened out, and that they won't have to spend too long extra in Ethiopia!! Right now, I think they just had to add about 2 weeks onto their trip to get paperwork straightened out.
