Jackson kept needing "one more sip" tonight after getting in bed, then couldn't sleep because his giant horse was on the floor and not in his bed. *Rolls eyes*
An hour after Maddie being read her night-time book, being tucked tucked, and going to bed, the screaming continues. Yet miraculously stops once you're in the room with her and she thinks you're going to hold her. This is a picture blog of our nightly bedtime adventures!!

Sometimes taking her out of her bedroom for a distraction in another room helps, but this night it did not. However there was a slight interest with The Colbert Report, although this was very short lived. Her diaper is dry, she is not sick, she doesn't have a fever, her tummy is full, she is fine. We are trying to wean her from a night time pacifier, so this is probably why she has an extra dose of anger at bedtime.

Upon going back to her room, she was very angry because she knew that she was going to go to bed. So what makes for a better time than dressing up her teddybear in her giraffe costume? Nothing, that's right! We put the giraffe-dressed teddybear down in her crib and tucked tucked it goodnight and sat her next to it. But she insisted on sitting ontop of it during her last bedtime book.
