We chose to eat at Joe's Crab Shack because it was a beautiful day outside, and we thought it would be nice to eat outside and let the kids play at the playground. Unfortunately, there was a large lunch crowd that wanted to eat outside and we weren't able to get a table near the playground.
Our food was ordered relatively quickly, however took a while to be delivered. The waitress left quickly after delivering the food, and didn't notice that one entire meal was not brought out. After flagging her down to let her know that someone's salad was also brought out without the croutons it was supposed to have, she seemed utterly flabbergasted that we were missing a meal. She said she would go check on it, and also bring out some croutons; which, the reason she said she brought out the salad without the croutons was because they were still baking them and they were not finished yet.
A while later, after everyone else had already completed most of their meal, she finally brings out a small cup of store-purchased stale croutons; definitely nothing that had just been baking a few minutes earlier. And the wait continues for the missing meal. About 10 minutes later, the missing meal comes to the table - crab stuffed shrimp. The shrimp were very rubbery, and taste left much to be desired. The crab cakes were also very fishy tasting.
Overall, this was a very unsatisfying trip. However, we have had good experiences at this restaurant previously so we will still try it out in the future and hope for better service! Below is the rating on a 0-10 scale: (0 = Worst Ever, 10 = Best Ever)
