Last night was great! We put Maddie's crib between the two beds, and all watched The Wizard Of Oz while falling asleep. Jackson and I fell asleep during the movie, and Mike and Maddie fell asleep after the movie was over. No crying all night long!! Although, Mike's work called (again!!) in the middle of the night. When we woke up (6:00am!!) we got ready, packed our bags, and had breakfast. Maddie made friends with the girls at the next table because they were having bananas. I asked Maddie if she liked the movie last night, and she said "The Boz!!" Close enough. The luggage cart is packed, we are ready to go. The taxi is coming to pick us up at 8:30am in the hotel lobby. And...Maddie just threw her bowl of fruit loops all over the floor. Signing out for now...
The Trip Home:
The guy that picked us up at the hotel had a "Mike Weld" sign taped to the side of his van, it was hilarious - probably because we're all tired and pretty much anything is funny.

The plane back to KC was okay, besides half the trip Jackson throwing a fit and crying on the plane. Maddie fell asleep in the airport waiting to board, after a melt-down at the Burger King getting something to drink. (Are we home yet??)

The kids were glad that we got hot chocolate chip cookies on the flight from Orlando to KC.

On the way back, we saw a zooming truck with a dog in the back that kept sticking its head over the edge of the truck. I was just waiting for the second that the truck hit a bump and the dog went flying! So we decided to pass them so we didn't get in an accident.

The kids both slept most of the way home from KC to DSM which was nice. However, now that we're home, they're not wanting to go to bed. And we had a great "Welcome Home" gift for us - two giant pieces of our fence blew over and are laying in our yard. Again. I wish our house would stop breaking so we can start saving money instead of spending! We made Piggy-Wiggies for dinner, which Jackson absolutely loved! Now it's time for bed. Wshew!!

Anyway, it's good to be home! MMRRRREEOOOOW! (That's the sound Sabrina keeps making 24/7)
